Teams are a critical component of accelerated success in business. You simply cannot do everything yourself if you want to enjoy a business that fulfills and inspires you.
Successful entrepreneurs will tell you that without a team, accelerated success in business is merely a notion.
Here are a few steps to get you started on the path to building a responsive and loyal virtual or in-person team -
- Lose your ego when building your team. It’s about your business and establishing clear expectations -and not just your personal desires. Set clear business/personal values and build your team from the values.
- Reward good team members often and well. Good help really is hard to find …
- Be “hands-on” and engaged in the completion of projects and tasks; however, pay close attention to how much being “hands-on” affects your team’s ability to take ownership of projects and work effectively. It is important that you find the right balance between being “hands-on” and “micro-management”. Avoid becoming a micro-manager. Systems and processes are what lead to accelerated success - not micro-management. Click below to keep reading …
- Encourage (do not limit) creatively and innovation from your team.
- Give your absolute best at all times and expect the same from your team members.
- Encourage your team members to be versatile.
- Succession planning is key. Who is 2nd in command?
We would love to know how you are implementing these points into your business. Feel free to leave a comment below.
Until next time … Take GREAT Care!

hello
They were great suggestions! So many businesses and ventures fail to reach their full potential because egos get in the way! Egos of the people at the top. And also being hands on is so important and beneficial for other team members. Don’t get your workers to do anything that you are not willing to do if push comes to shove. It’s just about treating everybody as a valuable part of the team.
