In this season of sharing and giving, do not forget the importance of giving meaningful gifts that “keep giving” to yourself and your business. If you are serious about achieving accelerated success in 2008, you will invest your resources (time and money) in the following three important gifts. Having these things in place will set the stage for a remarkable new year for your business.

You will be amazed at how many of your law school, grad school and college buddies are members of the LinkedIn community. You will be further amazed at how many members of your circle of influence are also members of this community. Effective use of LinkedIn and its features can certainly lead to increased business opportunities.
3. A Mastermind Group. It is of critical important that you surround yourself with like-minded people when building a business that is sustainable and poised for growth. A powerful and effective “mastermind” group will (i) challenge you to growth and develop, (ii) support the evolution that occurs from your growth and develoment and (iii) provide direct and indirect opportunities for you to learn new information that will make a measurable difference in your life.

A COACHING EXERCISE
Spend time thinking about how an investment in each of the gifts mentioned above will have a measurable impact on your business. Get out your journal and list every benefit and advantage you can think of. Then, write down what it will take for you to invest in the gifts listed above. Now, determine what is important and write down your time frame for making necessary the investments and moving into action. You are now ready to get going!
