Getting Rid of Problems in Your Business

Wednesday Inspiration #2

Today’s inspiration is designed to help you take a deeper look at the root cause of your business (or life) “problems”.

Today’s Thought

When you delve deep enough to reach the root of the “problems” in your business (and life) you will most often find that systems (or the lack thereof) is the real issue-not people.

Upward Action for Success ~ A Coaching Exercise

Identify the biggest problem in your business (or life) and record it in your journal.  Spend 10 minutes identifying what system(s) can be put in place to revolve the problem and prevent it from reoccurring.  Don’t focus on people, just systems.    journalList all of the systems you think of in your journal.

Now, commit the time needed to develop an action plan designed to put the system(s) you have identifed in the previous step into action.

After developing your action plan, determine how much time is needed to execute the plan and allocate the necessary time in your schedule to get it done.     Now … move forward with working your plan.   No execuses …. just do it!

If you need help,  give us a holla!  We are happy to support you as you develop an effective and efficient plan for your Upward Action to accelerated success.

Until next time … Take GREAT Care!

Can you give us an example of how this would work? Would you agree that people are sometimes the problem? It is people that often lie and steal and cause problems within a business or organization – systems you can depend on, people often disappoint.

Thanks for your comment. Good systems will help you weed out problematic candidates when making hiring decisions via comprehensive background checks and other hiring tools. Good systems will also help you properly evaluate the success and potential of new employees within the first 90 - 180 days of employment. While people will certain instigate problems within organization, effective systems will help you get rid of problematic situations quickly and get your team/company back on track. Without effective systems, problems will fester and your entire culture will be negatively impacted. Hope this helps!

Take GREAT Care!
