Thank You, Dr. King.

Thank you for your VISION of a land where all children would play, learn and grow together into adults who judged people based on the content of their character and not the color of their skin.

Thank you for your COURAGE to take actions that were uncomfortable, dangerous and terrifying – yet necessary – to manifest your vision.

Thank you for your COMMITMENT to continuously doing what was necessary for people of African decent to be treated as full citizens of the United States of America.

Thank you for your LEADERSHIP in helping to organize people of different backgrounds into a movement with a common objective – liberating people of African decent from the bondage of inhuman treatment and abolishing laws that forced white people to participate in these injustices. Racist behavior is an option, there is no excuse.

Thank you for your FAITH that your vision would come to pass if you stayed the course and did not quit.

It is because of your vision, courage, commitment, leadership and faith that I am free to be my best self and live up to my full potential – THANK YOU.

Dr. King used every gift, talent and resource available to him to make his vision for the world a reality.

Will you?

Stay Inspired!
